We are group of mature skiers ranging from intermediates to advanced and racers. We are definitely interested in family skiing and solicit inquiries about that. Activities in off season range from wine tasting to plays, BBQ's to train rides. We take 5 annual trips--3 X Mammoth, Salt Lake City, and one "fly away"---last year was Canada, this year is WinterPark CO, and in 2006 it will be Andorra, Europe.

Area Served

We are in San Diego County and service all that including Temecula. We have active members in Big Bear and Steamboat Springs.

Meetings

Meetings are held the First Tuesday of each month at Leilani's Restaurant in Serra Mesa starting at 7pm . Members usually arrive about 6pm to dine or have a happy hour and socialize.

Memberships

We are in a building phase catering to families. Current membership leans heavily on Seniors although many of our newer members tend to be in their 40s and up. Our award winning website provides newsletters, history, previous trips and pix, and an application which can be downloaded. Dues are $30 for singles, dual/family $45---each of those will be reduced by $5.00 for newsletters by e-mail as opposed to regular mail.

Trips & Events

We are socially very active in off season and include several parties among our activities as shown above--Palm Springs Follies to Bike rides and Golf tournaments. We have included in the past ; back packing in the Sierra, group camping, houseboating, "barrel Tasting", and visiting a Mexican winery.
