About Snowchasers Ski Club

The SNOWCHASERS is a NON-PROFIT, year-round sports, activities, and social club based in Central Contra Costa County. Our membership consists of families with kids, couples, and singles, of all ages. Besides skiing and snowboarding, we stay very busy with many off-season activities including biking, hiking, kayaking and golfing.

Our social programs include winter and summer dances and parties, camping, theater trips, wine tasting, picnics, and barbecues. We meet the first and third Wednesdays of every month at the Sizzler's restaurant in Concord, (June, July, August and September we have a picnic/BBQ in Pleasant Hill on the first Wednesday of the month) and guests are very welcome at any of our social meetings or events.

Some of our members compete in the BAC Open League's club race program for both skiers and snowboarders. Racing is for ALL levels of ability (beginner to expert, we have 10 different classes) and ages. Our junior racers are very competitive (kids love to race), and were Open League champions this year. Come on down to any of our meetings and find out how to join our race team. You will improve your skiing, have fun, and ski at a discount while scoring points for our club.

As a club we are able to obtain discounted lodging and lift tickets and you don't have to be a ski racer to take advantage of these. Members can also realize TERRIFIC SAVINGS on SKI VACATION packages.
