About this Club

WFSA-Winter Fox Ski Association Inc., founded in 1978, is dedicated to advancing and promoting the sport of skiing/snowboarding in and across the Los Angeles area.

We currently have over 100 members with a variety of recreational interests. Winter Fox is an active member of the Los Angeles Ski Council and of the National Brotherhood of Skiers (NBS), which hosts the biennial "Black Summit," a national convention of over 80 predominantly African-American ski clubs from across the U.S.

From Los Angeles we've traveled to ski destinations all over North America as well as in Europe, Canada, and South America. Some members have even run skiing trips to France, Greece, New Zealand and China.

Meetings

WFSA general membership meetings are held the First Thursday of every month from 1st Thursday of each month 7:00 pm Larry's Restaurant (formerly Cooley's) 300 E. Florence Ave. Inglewood, CA

Memberships

Annual dues for individual are $20 per year; $40 for families, with children 18 and under. A $20 per trip fee is charged for non-members.

Trips & Events

In addition to our busy winter schedule, Winter Fox is also active during the summer and members enjoy such activities as tennis, golf, beach vollyball, cycling, camping, hiking, house boating, kayaking, scuba diving, sailing, white water rafting and more.
