About Sterling Ski Club
Sterling Ski Club is a family oriented ski club for active people of all ages. The club is based in Stratford, Connecticut. Members enjoy a wide variety of year round sports in addition to down hill and cross country skiing. Bicycling is a summer favorite, but club members hike, kayak, snowboard, roller blade, and many activities.The club has two Vermont lodges that are available to members year round at a cost of $15 per night. One lodge is located in Brattleboro, and the other is located on the mountain at Sugarbush in Fayston, Vermont. Both lodges have dormitory- style bedrooms, and full kitchens. Both serve as a home- away from home for our members during the clubs activities.
The club also offers deeply discounted tickets to many Vermont ski areas through the Connecticut Ski Council. Each winter the club offers a day of free ski instruction through the club's certified ski instructors.

Area Served
The club is located in Stratford, Connecticut, in eastern Fairfield County. The bulk of the members are from the greater Fairfield and New Haven County area. However, club members live throughout Connecticut, and New England with some members in Masacusetts and New York. With two lodges in Vermont, most of the club's skiing is done Vermont. Sterling members also ski in New Hampshire, New York, Maine, Connecticut, and in western states and Europe.Meetings
From September to mid- May the club meets the first and third Thursday night or each month at 7:00pm at the Sterling House Community Center, 2283 Main Street, Stratford, Connecticut. The club sometimes meets at an off- site location. In June, July and August, the club meets one Thursday night per month. Please check our web site for an updated schedule.Memberships
The club welcomes people of all ages and all skiing abilities, from "never- evers" to veteran skiers. Not all of our members are skiers. Some enjoy other sports, and some just enjoy the company of good friends.Trips & Events
