Skiers and boarders of all ages welcome. Basically a family oriented club, kids welcomed and encouraged on all trips and at most social events. Great club for families where one spouse doesn't ski. Over the past couple of years the club has acquired many new families and members. All club members are asked to volunteer time and energy at one of the social events. Club is based out of Newtown CT. Most of our members are from Newtown and the surrounding area, however, we do have members from as far away as Vermont, Florida and Colorado.
Several general meetings/social events throughout the year, variety of locations
New members (1st year) $50 first adult, $15 second adult, $5 each child under 21. Children over 21 require their own membership. Renewal fees: Before October 1st - same as above except $40 for first adult. After October 1st a $20 late fee per membership is charged.
Day Bus Trips, Weekend Bus Trips, Weeklong Trips both to the east and west and some years to Europe (some include transportation). All club trips are subsidized to keep costs down. Monthly social events, free to club members. Affiliated with Sterling Ski Club in Stratford CT - have use of Sterling's 2 lodges.
