Miramar is a not-for-profit ski club, with our own cozy lodge in picturesque Waitsfield Village, in Vermont. The lodge is in a converted mill on the Mad River that sleeps 52 people, mostly in double rooms. The bus stays with us throughout the weekend, and takes us to and from the ski areas.
We encourage people who love the outdoors, are enthusiastic about snowboarding, downhill or cross-country skiing to try us out by taking a trip. If becoming an active member of a cooperative, volunteer club feels right, then you may want to apply for membership.
We are able to keep our fees down because we are a volunteer organization. On weekend trips everyone is asked to help with simple, light chores such as unloading skis from the bus or taking out the garbage after dinner. Heavier housekeeping is provided by paid staff.
