Ibex Ski and Snowboard Club as the name indicates has its origins in down hill skiing. Over the years it is added a number of non-skiing activities and functions as a year round social club. Each month finds the club engaged in such diverse activities camping, trips to the theater, golf and bike rides. Many of the members view the club as their primary social activity vehicle.

Most members come from the Nothwestern Suburbs of Chicago. A number of members have moved to other parts of the country and still maintain their membership and participate in ski trips as well as other activities.
Meeting Location: Crave Sports Bar, 1204 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL
Meeting Time: Social Hour starts at 7:00 PM, Official Meeting Starts at 8:00 PM
Meeting Days: 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of every month

Normally the club runs 4 Western Trips per year. Every other year we run a trip to Europe.
In addition to ski trips, the club hosts 2 - 3 scuba trips per year and one other vacation trip, typically to Colorado or Northern California for wine tasting.
During the summer volleyball is a weekly event.
Another weekly event is our Thursday Night Bike Rides. This is fairly intense training ride ranging from 22 to 28 miles. We also host several weekend social rides that are at a slower pace and usually involve stops at "Pub & Grub" establishments.
Several Golf events are held during the summer
