The Nordic Fox Ski Club has weekly ski outings during the winter season. We find snow near the Chicago area (Southern Wisconsin, SW Michigan, Rockford as well as closer-in areas if snow permits.) We get together for year-round activities and have a monthly newsletter that keeps us up-to-date in addition to the website.

Although most of our members live in the western suburbs of Chicago we serve the getaer Chicago area.
Our monthly meetings are typically held on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm, Sept. - March at EmmEtt's Ale House located at 5200 Main Street in Downers Grove, Illinois. See our website (WWW.NORDICFOX.ORG) to confirm dates for individual meetings.
Our registration form is available on the website (NordicFox.org). Dues are $20 for singles and $25 for families.
We have 2 one-week-long trips each winter. The first is in Ironwood, Michigan in the upper peninsula during the week of Martin Luther King day. For $230 you get 5 nights lodging, most of your meals, and passes good for local areas. Hard to beat!
The other week is usually in early February and we have gone throughout the US and Canada to such destinations as Yellowstone (4 times), Royal Gorge, Methow Valley, Devil's Thumb, Maplelag, Stokely Creek, Far Hills, and Jackson, New Hampshire. Cost runs from $600-$2,000 (most expensive is Yellowstone). For this years trip we return to Yellowstone as a joint trip with the Lake Shore Ski Club.
