About this Club

Rivercity Ski Club is a small northcentral Illinois club for anyone that likes winter outdoor activities. We gather once a month for a business and social meeting with a potluck dinner. Generally, we are now too small to provide our own members with western trips. We do have access to two major Ski Councils in the state which have hundreds of trips and activities which we partake. We don't always plan midwestern ski trips. We also try to have some summer and fall activities.

Area Served

We mainly serve the towns of Ottawa, La Salle, Peru, and Seneca in La Salle County, Illinois; but we also have members in Grundy, Cook, Will, Bureau, and Kendall counties in Illinois.

Meetings

We normally meet at 6 pm the third Monday of the month August through June at the Starved Rock Yacht Club on Dee Benneth Road west of Ottawa.

Memberships

Membership is open to those over 18 years of age. An application and signed release are required. Single memberships are $20 and Family memberships are $30. Children and grandchildren are very welcome on trips and for other activites just not at meetings
