About Baltimore Ski ClubThe Baltimore Ski Club, Inc. (BSC) invites you to catch the spirit and the excitement of the sport of skiing. The BSC, incorporated in 1947, is not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and advancement of skiing (alpine and nordic), ski improvement, snowboarding, competition, and social activities.
Club membership is diverse and welcomes both the beginner and the expert. Our interests range from the green to the extreme, from cruising the groomed trails to heli-skiing. This membership application is your ticket to this enjoyment. Annual Memberships run from June 1st to May 31st.
The BSC offers a full schedule of weekend and week long trips to Eastern, Western, and European destinations. Trips are coordinated by Club members who enjoy sharing their favorite mountains with you. Transportation to the ski areas can be by plane, train, bus, or automobile. Club activities throughout the year include biking, volleyball, bowling, rafting, picnics, tennis, golf, boating, crab feasts, hiking, etc. Each individual is responsible for providing whatever is necessary for a trip. The BSC owns no skis, equipment, or apparel. Skis and equipment may be rented locally or at the mountain. The BSC does not currently require the use of helmets; however, the purchase and use of a helmet is encouraged.
RACING AND SKI LESSONS
Ski lessons and racing are encouraged by the Club because both are an excellent way to improve a skier’s skill level. The BSC offers partial rebates for ski lessons and racing fees on sanctioned trips.
