About this Club

The Goodyear Ski Club is a year-round ski and social club open to riders of all ages. In the winter our members enjoy skiing, snowboarding, racing, one-day, weekend, and week trips with one of the best and largest clubs in the area. Also during the winter we have many social functions including but not limited to card tournament, Holiday parties, and wine tasting parties. Summer does not slow down our members with biking, trips to the Lake Erie islands, golf, canoing, white water rafting, concerts, Indian games, Aeros games, and picnics. Come to one of our meetings to find out about our winter and social events first hand and meet our enthusiastic and friendly members. Some monthly meetings focus around a chili cookoff, Patriotic food fest, or dressing in the theme of the holiday.

The majority of our members are from the Akron, Canton, and Massilon areas.

Meetings

The Goodyear Ski Club meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Akron Turner Club, 547 Monroe Falls Road, Akron, Ohio at 7:30P.M.

Memberships

A membership application may be downloaded from our website goodyearskiclub.org or by contacting our President. Dues for a new single member is $25 and for a couple the membership fee is $35.

Trips & Events

The Goodyear Ski Club runs five to six one day trips and a weekend trip to ski areas in western New York and western Pennsylvania each year. We also have three week trips each year to major areas in the west and New England to round out our winter program. The club meets weekly at Boston Mill Ski Resort for some skiing, racing, food, drink and friendship. During the winter we will have several social events and during the spring, summer, and fall the club sponsers more social events each month.
