The Youngstown Ski Club serves all of Mahoning, Columbiana, Trumbull, and some Western Pa. counties. Any interested enthusiasts in the Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania areas are welcomed to join and experience the fun. Some of the Ski Resorts visited include Peek n' Peak, Holiday Valley, Swain, Snowshoe, Holimont, Kissingbridge, Bristol, Timberline, Aspen, Vail, Whistler, and Lake Tahoe.Meetings
Monthly meetings are held at 7:00 pm the second Monday of each month. Typically, the location is at the BW3's in Boardman, Ohio, but it is not exclusive to that, as other locations are announced when necessary.Memberships
Membership dues are $20.00 per person and are renewed in the months of September and October. Dues are $25.00 after the last ski show in December. You must be 18 or over to join, but families and children are welcomed on the one-day trips and specific weekend trips when certain criteria is met.Trips & Events
The Youngstown Ski Club typically runs 2-4 weekend ski trips per year including but not limited to Western New York, Western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Several one-day trips are organized as well which can be booked during the week days or on weekends, all of which all are open to the public, but at a slightly higher cost than to members. The club is associated with two ski councils, and members can participate in Western and European trips as well!Throughout the year, The Youngstown Ski Club organizes numerous social events to provide members an opportunity to unwind and have some fun. Annual events such as The Corn Roast and Volleyball Party, The Wine Taste and Dinner Dance, and both the Halloween and Christmas parties are among the most popular. Social mixers, hiking, bowling, bike riding, dancing, bar crawls, camping, and canoeing, are other activities that members and guests participate in.
