About this Club

The purpose of this club is to promote skiing and other recreational and social activiites designed to incread the enjoyment of its members. It is a nonprofit organization and relies upon the volunteered assistance of its members.

Portland metro/Vancouver, WA area and ski areas around the west.

Meetings

Meets first Monday of each month at Gateway Elks Lodge, 711 NE 100th St, Portland Or. If first Monday falls on a holiday the meeting moves to the next Monday. Doors open at 6 pm with information meeting for new members and guests at 7:15.

Memberships

Only requirement is member must be 21 years or older. You can join online at the club website, www.bergfreunde.org.

Trips & Events

Sports and social activities are offered year around. We have hiking, biking, walking, paddling, snow sports (downhill, xc, snowboard, snowshoe), golf, theater, movies, wine trips, weekly social get-togethers. As an all volunteer club it is up to the membership to keep the calendar full with weekend and weekday activity.
