About this Club

The Ohio Nordic Ski Club promotes the sport of cross country skiing in Northeast Ohio. We provide support to our local Nordic ski centers and work to increase xc skiing opportunities for everyone from recreational skiers to competitive racers. The club has a ski racing team that competes in the Michigan Cup and other regional and national events. We host several club outings and special events throughout Northeast Ohio as well as support local races including the Ohio Nordic Championships. The club also runs a a new youth xc skier development program called Hilltoppers XC which meets at Chapin Forest every Sunday beginning in January. Skill sessions are from 10am to 12 PM and children are invited to enroll throughout the season. The majority of the club's members live in the vicinity of Cleveland, OH, but there is a smattering of members across the rest of the state, as well as in Indiana and Pennsylvania.
