About AE Ski Club
The AE Ski Club (formally Aetna Ski Club) was founded in the mid 70’s. Although the original membership was limited to Aetna employees and their guests, membership today is no longer restricted to Aetna employees. The club has now grown to over 3,000 members, and is a non-profit organization.The AE Ski Club sponsors winter activities such as: Learn to ski programs, club days, week trips to Canada, Western US and Europe, Weekend trips and 1-day bus trips. Members also enjoy participation in the CSC discount ticket program, whereby discounted lift ticket vouchers to Vermont mountains can be pre-purchased at significant savings over the walk up rate. In the summer there are Golf tournaments, White water rafting trips, Mountain Biking and other summer recreatuioal activities. Members receive monthly newsletters, which include detailed event information, a classified section, and a list of upcoming events. The Club’s website, www.aeskiclub.com has continually updated information on all club activities and available discounts.

The AE Ski Club regularly visits VT, NH, Maine, NY and Mass ski areas.Meetings
Due to the large membership of the club, there are 2 annual meetings. The annual Open house held the last Thursday in October, abnd our end of season gathering, held the 3rd Thursday in April. Various social gatherings are also held during the year. The 16 member board of directors meets monthly.Memberships
Membership is open to all, provided a signed and completed membership form is submitted along with the proper annual dues. Membership is renewable on an annual basis and runs 10/1-9/30.Trips & Events
-The club annually runs 3-4 week long ski trips to Europe, Canada and the Western US.-The club annually runs 5-6 day bus trips to VT or NH ski areas departiung from Middletown & Windsor CT.
-The club annually runs 2-3 weekend ski trips to VT. NH, Maine, Canadian or NY ski areas.
