About this Club

We focus on Western, Midwest and European downhill /snowboard and XC ski trips. We organize several day and weekend long cross country trips in the Upper Midwest. In addition to winter activities we have a large contingent of people who enjoy tennis all year round, as well as biking, golf and camping in the summer. Social activities include, theater, Timberwolves and Wild games, wine tasting, parades,and dances.

We are a year round club and offer many activities other than skiing. We usually plan several weekend or week long trips to some non-ski destinations throughout the year.

Area Served

Most members are from the Twin Cities and 11 county metro area and Eastern Wisconsin. We even have members as far away as Colorado and Germany.

Meetings

We meet at the Timberlodge Steakhouse in Southtown Center, which is just south of Penn Avenue off of 494 in Bloomington, MN. We meet at this location the third Wednesday of the month in November, January, February and March. After, usually the first Wednesday of May, we begin our weekly Wednesday Night Sports. That's our weekly golf, biking and tennis in the Bloomington, MN area. After sports we stop in at Major's Sports Cafe on South Normandale Blvd, in Bloomington, MN for rehydrating and sustenance.

Memberships

Membership runs Nov 1 - Oct 31 and dues are: Individual - $25, Households - $35. Membership is open to those 21 years of age and over. Events are open to all. Discounts for car rentals, lodging at select resorts, ski/bike equipment and clothing are available to members only. A membership form is available on line at www.sitzmarkmn.org.
