About Victoria Alpine Ski Club

We are a mixture of about 125 male and female adults, singles and couples, some athletic and some more social. We keep busy year round with organized social and sporting activities. Many of us have formed strong friendships within the club. We are a friendly bunch with a common goal - to have fun!

Area Served

We ski at a variety of British Columbia resorts. During the year we regularly ski Mount Washington as well as Whistler/Blackcomb. Plus, we often organize longer trips to Big White, Silver Star, Sun Peaks, Apex, Sun Shine, Lake Louise, Fernie and various other destinations, even as far away as Europe!

Meetings

We meet on the first Thursday of each month at the Sticky Wicket Pub, 919 Douglas St. Victoria, B.C. Look for us in the Maple Room starting at 8:00 p.m. Visitors Welcome.

Memberships

The Victoria Alpine Ski Club, a registered non-profit society since 1978, is governed by a board of directors. The club is supported through annual membership dues of $50.00.

Trips & Events

We organize many exciting ski trips every winter. During the year we regularly ski Mount Washington as well as Whistler/Blackcomb. Plus, we often organize longer trips to Big White, Silver Star, Sun Peaks, Apex, Sun Shine, Lake Louise, Fernie and various other destinations, even as far away as Europe! Popular events include the Winter and Summer Okanagan Olympics, the Annual Spring Dance, a golf tournament, summer picnic and lots of other activities like cycling, hiking, camping, volleyball and kayaking.
