About this Club

The Makuse Ski Club is centrally located in North Conway, NH. We are a 1/2 mile from Cranmore Ski area and within 20-30 minutes of several major ski areas including Attitash/Bear Peak and Wildcat Mountain. We are located within minutes of the downtown area with shopping and restaurants

Our members are very active throughout the year. In the winter, focus is mostly on skiing and snowboarding, but we will also go snowshoeing. Abilities range from novice through expert so there is always someone to ski and ride with at your ability. During the summer, activities include canoeing, biking, hiking and golf, to name a few.

Our lodge is very large (3 floors) with 22 bedrooms, each with 2-4 bunks. Each room has a sink with running water. We have 5 bathrooms spread out over the three floors with showers in every bathroom.

Amenities: Newly renovated kitchen, Large party/dining area, , full stereo system with music server (Thousands of songs), fireplace, bar, 2 decks, large parking area, ski/snowboard storage, tuning area, 3 living room areas. Board of Directors meets monthly during the ski season.

Memberships

Full membership dues are $425 per year with a one-time $50 Initiation fee. Members receive a key to the lodge and are assigned a permanent room and have year-round access. Race membership is $50 per year. Race members do not receive a key and must pay guest fees when they stay at the club. Prospective members must be single, 21 or over, and must visit the club 3 times prior to submitting an application.

Trips & Events

We are a member of the Eastern Inter-club Ski League, which has approx. 28 member clubs. The league has a planned social calendar during the ski season which members are invited to attend. EICSL sponsors a yearly ski trip.
