About Alta Sierra
Alta Sierra is a family ski resort servicing day-use guests. Our new name is reflective of the many improvements made. An all new terrain park and children's ski area have been installed along with many new guest services features. The entire resort is experiencing a major renovation since new ownership/management took over in 2003.

What's New This Season at Alta Sierra
We have a fully functional snowmaking system for the 09/10 season. Now, you can expect Alta Sierra to be open through the Christmas Holiday period and to have consistent winter operating schedules .
