An expert’s brand of thrills served up in a local’s hangout, Discovery is a terrific find that will remind you what skiing Montana is all about! This regional secret boasts great terrain, uncrowded slopes and expansive views. The area has two north faces, in addition to two extensive frontside faces with a fantastic variety of terrain for all abilities. Enough tree skiing, powder bowls & mogul-runs for all tastes as well as groomed trails and great boarding air. Discovery is a family oriented, friendly ski area, and one just visit will make you a believer!

great ski resort, but little snow
it was very cold in the morning when we got there, but after a couple hours it started to warm up a little bit. it was very icy with some bare spots, but once the sun came out the snow softened up a little bit....More |
What's New This Season at Discovery
Two additional lifts: the Anaconda Lift servicing the front side and the Granite Lift servicing 1670 vertical feet and 140 acres of new trails on the northwest side of Rumsey Mountain.
