About Cranmore
Cranmore Mountain Resort has drawn crowds from all round the world for over 65 years and you don’t have to be a huge resort to be known for big things. In the late 1930’s ‘The Father of American Skiing,’ Hannes Schneider, took his first runs on the South Slope of Cranmore. This put Cranmore and North Conway on the global map and made Cranmore the place to ski in the East. Schneider soon started a ski school at Cranmore and taught the famous Arlberg technique he acquired in Austria to students from around the globe.
Today Cranmore continues to offer guests the best experience by providing the best rental equipment, highly trained snowsports staff, first class terrain, New Hampshire’s #1 tubing facility, three dialed in terrain parks, the #1 Nastar course in the East, Saturday night Cranapalooza celebrations, online specials and affordable season passes to only name a few.
