The sheer expanse of Perisher covers 1245 rideable hectares across 4 resorts and 7 mountain peeks all located well above the recognized natural snowline. Perisher Blue is by far the largest resort in the Southern Hemisphere, where people visit for an amazing natural experience surrounded by Australia's greatest scenery. The Village is untamed but not uncivilised, with its upbeat but friendly, down to earth and serious but not snobby atmosphere. What's New This Season at Perisher Ski Resort
New snowmaking improvements have delivered more reliable and consistent snow in key high traffic areas of Front Valley and from the Mid Station of the Express Quad down. The resort now boasts over $500,000 of additional hire equipment for the various Perisher Snowsports Hire outlets and a Prinoth Bison X snow-grooming machine to modernise Australia’s biggest grooming fleet. The Happy Valley T-bar has also been extended making the return access from Mt Perisher easier.
