FOX PEAK is quite different and natural. You will find Fox Peak located midway between the snow towns of Christchurch and Queenstown. It provides serious skiers and boarders with some of the longest trails in New Zealand and no crowds! Every day there is always something new and different. Breath-taking views reach the Pacific ocean in one direction and true alpine peaks in the other. Back backer accommodation adds to the special nature of this mountain.
The field is operated by keen snowsports people on a voluntary basis. Equipment and running costs are kept to a minimum resulting in huge uncrowded space for the real enjoyment of the mountain environment and the lowest possible lift prices.
