![]() Originally named Little Gap Ski Area in 1977, Blue Mountain was born in 1989 to better identify with the grand-scale of our mountain. Blue Mountain has 39 ski trails serviced by 13 lifts and up to 39 tubing lanes serviced by 3 lifts. Blue is best known for skiing, riding & tubing in the Winter yet it's far beyond the everyday experience for non-Winter Adventures! What's New This Season at Blue Mountain Resort
Here's what's New at Blue for the 2014-2015 Winter Season: The Slopeside Pub & Grill is being expanded to include year-round, indoor dining and a large outdoor deck. Renovations to the Summit Lodge to improve guest spaces (lockers, restrooms, boot changing areas, guest services, etc.) The True Blue Mountain Sports Store was moved next to the Summit Rental Shop.
The Tuning Shop was moved down to the Valley Lodge. The Valley Lodge was expanded to increase the Rental Shop footprint and Retail Store presence. Our Children's Learning Center has been relocated down to the Valley. Once again, Blue has expanded its state of the art snowmaking system with a new pump house and 6 new pumps! Blue continues to be the leader in snowmaking automation and capacity on the East Coast. Other new additions: Yeti Park, a progression park the Summit Aerial Park, a 3-level high ropes, a second playing zone for our Outdoor Laser Tag and a residential camp option was added for Blue Mountain Adventure Camp! |
