About Blue Mountain Ski Area
 Blue Mountain has the highest vertical in Pa. The only Hi-speed detachable six passenger chairlift in Eastern Pa.! The regions only 56'x35' air-filled compression bag to cushion your landing and the only East Coast Mountain to have a natural US Luge Training Site. 39 scenic trails with varied terrain, some over a mile long. 13 lifts, including 3 snow tubing lifts, a hi-speed detachable six-seater and quad. Three lodges offering numerous ticket windows, 3 Learning Centers, 2 full service Rental Shops, a Tuning Shop, Childcare facilities, and our Skiers Store - aka, the True Blue Mountain Sports Store at the Summit Lodge.
Snowtubing is located near the Valley Lodge, where tubing tickets are purchased, or use the new Tubing Ticket Kiosks for Credit Card use only located at the new Tubing Sprung Structure. 21 awesome slides with 3 levels of excitement and 2 tows plus one Carpet Converyor Lift.

Why must they blow snow constantly on open terrain?
Blue used to only blow their snow on closed trails and during the night====I don't get this continuous snowblowing THIS SEASON on all open terrain......not everyone is an advanced skier to manuever through this stuff and it c...More |

fun for everyone!
i went with my family and had a great time, the staff is friendly and the food is good. the trails are numerous, fun and twisty

Great ski instructors, frustrating lift lines

What's New This Season at Blue Mountain Ski Area
New this year at Blue. We have again improved our snowmaking with fully automated guns and improved grooming with 2 new Groomers. The Summit Lodge Courtyard was again expanded to included additional seasonal lockers and a second outdoor eatery. Ski school has also been upgraded with a magic carpet and lessons will follow a station teaching format.
