Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is one of the most exciting winter recreation sites in the Northwest. Located just 16.5 miles from downtown Boise, this community gem has operated as a non-profit ski area for more than 60 years, providing quality service and value to thousands of guests.
Bogus Basin is known for incredible terrain spanning 2,600 acres, an award-winning ski and snowboard school, and a reputation for producing some of the best skiers and snowboarders in the world. Locals love the convenience of heading out of town for a few runs after work or school, while visitors appreciate the wide variety of slopes, trails and glades. |

What's New This Season at Bogus Basin
| Bogus Basin is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing accessible, affordable, and year-round mountain recreation activities for people of all ages. This fall, Bogus held a gala to raise funds for a new skidsteer and a brush cutting head. Since the purchase of the equipment, Bogus has been able to cut acres of brush and will continue to improve the mountain with the equipment. |
