With a 20% increase in snowmaking capacity, DiamondPeak will be able to better take advantage of optimal snowmaking temperature windows and ultimately take one step further in providing great early season conditions that will last throughout the winter. DiamondPeak proudly announces the creation of Pete’s Playground, a kids-specific terrain area in Cappy’s Corner. With rollers, bumps and other planned kid-friendly terrain features. The tree skiing off of the Crystal Ridge trail has been known to DiamondPeak locals for decades as some of the best tree skiing inTahoe.
This summer, Diamond Peak staff in conjunction with the US Forest Service, thinned areas off of Crystal Ridge between the Lightning and Diamondback trails to make the area more easily accessible. New Adult Intermediate/Advanced Lessons! With instructor to student ratio of no more than 1 to 4 and FREE Demo equipment, it's perfect for those skiers and riders who have hit a plateau and are looking to push past it. |
