About Mad River Mountain
 Open since 1962, Mad River Mountain is Ohio's largest ski resort sitting atop the highest point in the state! Less than an hour from Columbus or Dayton, Mad River Mountain is a short drive from most cities in the region. It's also home to Capital Park, the Midwest's Favorite Terrain Park 2010, 2011 & 2012.

MLK day on the slopes!
The slopes were a wonderful place to take the kids while they are out of school for MLK day! The older kids can enjoy snowboarding while the younger kids can enjoy tubing! There is something for everyone! You will enjoy your ...More |

What's New This Season at Mad River Mountain
New items this year include the unveiling of the Louie Vito Learning Park, additional seating space in our main base lodge, new learning programs for the 7-14 age group and expanded food options in both our main cafeteria and the Timberline Base Lodge.
