We are a year around Outdoor Fun Club. Summer time is biking, canoing, volleyball and socializing. Winter is cross-country, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, geocaching, wine tasting, theater and socializing.
Covering all of Eastern Iowa. We have members from Waterloo and north, and as far south as Riverside. Most events occur in the Cedar Rapids area, but is not confined to that area.
Our club meetings start with Kickoff in September and continue on the third Saturday each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Peoples Church in downtown Cedar Rapids. The meeting season ends in April with our Post Party with a banquet and band. Year around we have "Nothing Nights" every Wed starting 7:00, usually at City Beat in downtown Cedar Rapids, which is an informal get together of members and friends. Some bike in the summer at 5:30 and finish at City Beat.
Dues are $27 per single, or $41 for household. No restrictions.
Each year we have a week long West trip and 2 weekend midwest trips. We have some kind of event once or twice a month.
