It's hard to believe we are rolling into the 8th annual Kootenay Coldsmoke Power Fest! It will be held February 21 – 23rd, 2013 in the powder mecca of the Kootenays: Nelson, BC. Coldsmoke was created to provide a grass-roots gathering where mountain enthusiasts of all levels can celebrate our local culture with a breathtaking backdrop on world-renowned snow.

In addition to seasoned mountain veterans, this event will also draw “keen to be” telemarkers, backcountry skiers/snowboarders who want to give off-piste adventures a try, and those that want to socialize and enjoy the culture that the mountains instill. Whitewater Ski Resort’s terrain, combined with the Selkirk’s legendary snow, provides fantastic opportunities for everyone to ski, learn, compete, and celebrate the snow that us mountain enthusiasts enjoy.

The festival revolves around several days of clinics, competitions, events and celebrations of all ski/snowboard pursuits. We look forward to seeing you there!
