Prior has been handcrafting snowboards since 1990 and is known worldwide as a maker of some of the very best boards available. All snowboards are made at the cusom Prior factory in Whistler, Canada.
All Prior snowboards and skis are handcrafted in our custom factory in Whistler BC Canada – home of North America’s largest ski resort. Prior has been in business since 1990 and has earned a reputation for making some of the best snowboards and skis available anywhere. More than 30 snowboarders have won World Cup events on Prior boards since its inception.
Prior owners and staff also live the lifestyle. If, at any time you have thought that you would like to buy your board or ski from a tight-knit crew doing what they love…look no further. We use the huge mountains at our doorstep to fine tune our equipment to ensure it is the best it can be. Just don’t call us after a 20cm snowfall until after Noon.
Production is year round at our facility and our doors are open to the public during regular business hours. Our focus on the Big Mountain experience gives our boards, skis and our company a very strong, very loyal following. Throughout the years our goal has remained unchanged: “To make the best snow-riding products as determined by our customers.”
