About Bromley Mountain

Bromley is the ideal family location, located in the heart of Southern Vermont. We were also ranked 3rd in the Nation for family programs by SKI Magazine and we were ranked 7th in the East for Value. We are the only Ski Resort in New England with a Southern Exposure giving Bromley tons of sun. And we are only 2 ½ hours from Boston & 3 ½ hours from NYC. Bromley has 43 classic New England trails and glades with a variety of terrain that is seldom seen elsewhere. It is perfect for skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels from first timers to those who crave the gravity adrenaline rush.

What's New This Season at Bromley Mountain

Bromley is justifiably proud of its long reputation for top-quality “product,” – extensive snowmaking and four-season trail grooming both debuted at Bromley in the late 1930’s – and aims to keep that reputation intact. Hence Bromley’s $1 million investment in capital improvements for the 08/09 season, the bulk of which is going toward an arsenal of HKD sv10 tower snow guns. These guns will increase Bromley’s already impressive snowmaking capacity by an additional 30% and will allow for more manmade snow at moderate temperatures; that translates into more open early-season terrain and fast recovery after poor weather. Seeing as how Bromley will be throwing that much more snow, it’s no surprise that a new Prinoth BR350 groomer – the ultimate grooming and snow-moving system – will be added to the fleet.
