Perfect family fun. Convienent for families with beginners and more advanced skiers or snowboarders. Private hour lesson $50- worth the money. Effective teaching if basic skills and confidence is built in just an hour. Instructors were more than helpful and personable for even the smallest of riders. Bar ovrrlooks the mountain so anyone needing a break can still have a good view. My kids are 9 and 6 and they love what Pine Knob offers for being close to home. |

Tracked, Sunny
Good day at Pine Knob on Monday. Not overly crowded and the conditions on the hills were good. Considering we haven't received much snow yet, we were all surprised. It got colder towards the afternoon and we left before the rain came in. Going to try and get back this winter. Let's get more snow! |

We came to Pine Knob today (Martin Luther King Jr. Day) and thought it would be packed with people, but it wasn't! The morning was great, the afternoon got a little crowded - but not as packed as we had anticipated on a holiday.
For it not snowing much this season yet, the conditions were great! All lifts were open and terrain parks were open as well.
All-in-all, fabulous day! We will be definitely be coming back this season :) |
