Groomed, Uncrowded
Skied Wed. 3/4/15. Good conditions throughout the mountain. Moguls a bit on the icy side despite the warm temperatures. Lack of sun to blame. Midweek skiing is the way to do it at Hunter! |

Untracked, Icy Spots, Uncrowded, Windy, Sunny
Very disappointed in conditions on Thursday 12/19/13
There were a lot of icy spots and crud snow as well a some OK snow but overall we felt it was not safe to ski much and this was shared by a number of others.
We are upper intermediate skiers but will not look to take risks with conditions |

Groomed, Untracked, Uncrowded
Skiied Hunter today fuly expecting packed powder as reported this morning however the lower mountain was very soft and cruddy and the upper mountain had many trails with spring soft / glue conditions, clumps of snow and overall a lot of work.
Some of the green trails were heavily groomed and better if one wanted to go there |

For a mountain without recent snowfall , conditions were very good. Had a great day, it was not crowded and there were no lift lines. Only one or two trails got skied off at the end of the day. Weather was good, not too cold, although mostly cloudy. Overall a great day for a NYS mountain within a day's drive from Long Island. |

Overall conditions today were very good, there was a lot of packed powder and secondarily hard pack.
Crowds were nil today and with the bright sun it was a great Eastern ski day overall
The food court is fine and everthing is very fresh and very varied. |

Groomed, Crowded, Sunny, Making Snow
1/21 - snowed in the morning. Visability was poor. The mounain blew a ton of snow all day and night.
1/22 - bluebird day. Excellent conditions. Well gromed.... but with that come the crowds. Then again, it wouldn't be Hunter Mtn if there weren't crowds. The mountain is in real good shape. Overall great day of skiing. |
