18" 70" Powder  reported: 02/05/2016 at 7:19 PM EST by Jeff

Groomed, Tracked, Icy Spots

With 18 inches of new new snow on Monday and Tuesday the tree skiing is fantastic this week! The snow is incredibly light and fluffy and with the tree thinning the past couple years, the trees are where it's at! Of course as always, the lower mountain could really use more snow with Longhorn and Paradise icy in spots.

Groomed, Tracked, Thin Spots, Uncrowded, Calm, Flat Light

Need to make more snow at bottom of just one, Longhorn and the bottom will be good skiing. Some other areas with natural snow at the bottom are shallow but with care you can get through them. Skiing at the top has been great all through the holidays.

Groomed, Skied Off, Sun-Baked, Thin Spots, Icy Spots, Uncrowded, Windy

Yesterday was icy except for two runs on top; got a little snow today ; it could help a lot. Maybe snowmaking will start again and cover the thin spots.
