Groomed, Tracked, Icy Spots, Uncrowded, Calm
The fresh dumping of snow on Saturday was greatly needed and made for God boost in overall conditions. The groomers were smooth and in excellent condition, the terrain was in excellent shape, but the non groomed steeps were quite icy under the fresh snow and it may take another foot to effectively cover the hard ice on steeper slopes. The return of winter is putting smiles on everyone's faces, and with more snow forecasted this week conditions will only get better! |

Groomed, Tracked, Thin Spots, Wet Spots, Rocky Spots, Sunny
Sat was a beautiful bluebird day and the snow conditions were good overall. South facing slopes got a bit wet with the abnormally warm February sun. Most runs were in superb condition. Great day of skiing! And having Discovery's famous fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies at the end of the day was the icing on the cake. |
