Although snowfall has been a bit on the light side thus far this season the skiing is great! The past few days have seen some new snow making conditions excellent on the groomers. The peak and bowl areas have some thin spots, while the tree skiing in the Dakota area is outstanding! Dakota was skiing do well I could have spent a whole day just lapping those trees! The parks are also in good shape. Aside from the windswept areas off the peak, the recent new snow is making for great conditions. |

Groomed, Tracked, Untracked, Deep
Wow! What a weekend at Big Sky!!! Saturday provided continuous fresh tracks all day long as the snow kept dumping all day! Sunday turned into an incredible bluebird pow day - the best ski day of the season anywhere I've been!!!! No words can describe how amazing today was! |

There are still quite a few rocky areas that you need to keep an eye on, otherwise every other run that is currently open has a nice, packed base with a great new layer of powder! |
