Thin Spots, Icy Spots, Calm, Sunny

Suprised how much ice there was and several thin spots (all with signage) but it was picture perfect weather. Lift operators are the friendliest I have come by and they moved the crowds really well.

Groomed

For what was open with the lack of snow, the day was great!

Hard to believe it's March. More like Jan with both Attitash and Bear Peak in pristine condition. Skied from 9.30 till 4.00 and the conditions just got better and better as the day went on.

Skied Off, Icy Spots, Uncrowded, Windy, Flat Light

The snow was fast and fun if you like speed. Packed granular and ice with soft snow near the trail edges. Moguls were very hard. Icy parts were scattered and easy just to ski over if need be.

Beautiful day on thur feb 20th. Temps in high 30's with abundant sun. Snow was very nice considering how warm it was. The moguls were soft and my three yr old wouldn't stay out of them. The Ability Plus program ( wonderful adaptive skiing program for individuals with various challenges) had a fun run gs race set up for anyone to run he gates. Once the kids saw that they could run it than was it! Up the lift to ski the moguls half way down then zip thru the trees to hit the race. Beautiful weather, beautiful conditions but the slopes were crazy with all the vacationers from out of state. Just wish parents would teach their kids some control before they bomb down in a chattering leg wedge barley avoiding others.

Tracked, Deep, Icy Spots

Great day on 12 inches of powder with flurries the whole time. Bit gusty, esp on Bear Peak side. Thought the kids were going to be blown back up the mountain a couple of times. Powder every where in varying depths with only a couple icy patches. Woods looked inviting. Very impressed with the liftie on chair 4 on Attitash side. He helped me find people to ride up with one of my two kids each time. Great way to spend valentines day!

No crowds, plenty of snow and very helpful staff made our first time here, one will be repeated. The snow was fine with a few icy spots and no rocks.

Groomed, Tracked, Calm, Sunny

Forcast was for an overcast day but it was beautiful and sunny yesterday on the 9th. Not icy, more coverage in woods from Mother Nature finally bestowing the wonderful white stuff on us. Soft, minimally tracked small stashes to be found. Friendly staff as usual, lifties were happy to slow down lift while I hefted my 3 and 5 yr old on.

Groomed, Tracked

Was decent snow, soft but not too slow. Not many people and no lift lines.

Excellent skiing at Attitash/Bear Peak. Packed powder over a hard base. Made for real fast skiing. Cold (-1F) when we arrived at 9:30 and worked it's way up to 17F by the afternoon. Started at Attitash and worked our way over to Bear Peak then back again. No wind and didn't see any ice. Will be back on Superbowl Sunday. Lift tickets then will be only $39.

Groomed, Refrozen, Icy Spots, Uncrowded, Calm, Flat Light

Pleasant surprise with the trail condition on MLK Day. Most folks must of stayed in bed after the Pat's loss because there were few people on the slopes considering it was a Holiday for many. Attitash has recovered nicely from the rain and too warm temps the prior week, as I found the trails that were open to be in good shape at the start of the day. By mid day some icy spots started to work through, but there was plenty of trail space to ski around those. Trail numbers are down but hopefully this deep cold snap will change that.

Groomed, Tracked, Uncrowded

An excellent day today and conditions were nearly perfect! Only issue we had was the top of the Bear Peak summit was getting a bit skied off, otherwise everything else was excellent! Small lift lines, good snow, and good weather!

Groomed, Uncrowded, Calm, Sunny, Making Snow

Great day of skiing. After skiing on ice at Southern NH resorts this was a very nice change. Taking advantage of the $46 SuperBowl Sunday lift ticket deal. Occasional patch of icy-crust but nothing to worry about. All trails I went down were in great shape.
