Groomed, Skied Off, Thin, Thin Spots, Icy Spots, Bare Spots, Windy, Making Snow

Skied Cannon on 1.1.15. Great 2-for-1 deal for everyone, yet crowds didn't materialize, perhaps due to the very cold conditions. Cannon like other resorts has taken a beating from the recent warm and rainy spell, but they are making snow like crazy. Trails off the top of cannon were littered with huge amounts of blown snow. Very fun mogul runs as a result. Very icy conditions were mostly towards the bottom where traffic is heavy. Really impressed with how much snow Cannon is blowing. They aren't holding back and with cold temperatures on the continued horizon, it's looking good for Cannon!
3" 30" Powder  reported: 03/24/2014 at 1:23 AM EST by Jackie

Groomed, Tracked, Uncrowded, Sunny

With the cold holding on and rounds of snow that keeps coming in, it really skis like mid. January. A few inches of light snow fell Sat night or early Sun am at Cannon while left just enough to make tracks. Mittersill is open and most of the runs have good coverage, a few are skied off in spots. Fewer people on the weekends now, no lift lines!
5" 36" Deep Powder  reported: 03/16/2014 at 2:42 AM EST by Shannon

Wet, Snowy, Sunny

Cannon was blanketed with snow from the Thursday storm. Saturday skiing had tons of SNOW, everywhere. All the snow being pushed around causes a lot of the runs to be "mogul like" and the snow is heavier wet snow. Everything open. Sunny warm start to the day, afternoon brought a light windy storm that dusted the whole mountain.

Deep, Uncrowded, Windy, Snowy

Skied Cannon yesterday during the "storm". Great conditions all over the mountain.

Groomed, Icy Spots, Crowded, Making Snow

I was there on Friday 12/28 after the big snow storm. Excellent conditions, but the main quad broke midday and stayed down all afternoon creating bottlenecks at all other lifts.
0" 20" Hard Pack  reported: 12/26/2012 at 2:11 PM EST by kelly

Groomed, Skied Off, Icy Spots, Uncrowded, Sunny, Making Snow

Considering the early season weather pattern, Cannon is in really good shape and blasting snow on many trails throughout the day today. Certainly some icy spots as the day wore on, but overall somne really good conditions and no lift lines.
0" 0" Granular  reported: 02/10/2012 at 11:21 AM EST by Carl

Groomed, Uncrowded, Calm, Sunny, Making Snow

Warm temps and sun made the snow soft enough for great skiing. Considering the tough winter we've been having, conditions were very good. Only a few icy areas showed up later in the day. Groomers have been working hard! Couple of races going on but no lift lines and no crowds on the slopes.
