0" 20" Packed Powder  reported: 12/23/2014 at 1:23 PM EST by Monte Benedetto

Uncrowded

Great early season day. Lots of fresh pow hanging around. no crowds, great visibility and most of the mountain open. Glades were a bit thin, but still very fun.
13" 24" Pristine Powder  reported: 12/19/2013 at 9:24 AM EST by Anonymous

Tracked, Untracked, Thin Spots, Snowy

skiied on opening day and there was basically 1 run (I think it said 5 trails) and it was glare ice. 12+ inches of new snow overnight changed everything. Still snowing most of the day and ropes started dropping about half way through the day. Very few people and lots of untracked powder. Snow quality was perfect as there was very cold air in place prior to the storm. Great day to start the season.
0" 20" Frozen Powder  reported: 03/11/2013 at 5:45 AM EST by Anonymous

Groomed, Tracked, Untracked, Refrozen, Sun-Baked, Deep, Thin Spots, Wet Spots, Uncrowded, Calm, Sunny

Transition to spring conditions began in earnest this Day. Pretty much packed powder in the am, with some frozen granular. Natural trails such as east bowl were skiing fine. WB had been groomed down a week ago. A few thin spots found on the naturals, but extremely navigable. By noontime, the skiing was great. Lift lines were about 7-10 mins max between 10 am and 2:30pm, then pretty much ski on /off. Plenty of seats in the lodge. Sunscreen and light clothing. Staff, especially Meg couldn't have been nicer. Certainly a good catch until closing day, March 31st.
5" 10" Wet Packed Snow  reported: 01/03/2012 at 3:16 AM EST by Kelly

Groomed, Wet

I was staying nearby and drove up to see if I could convince myself of buying a lift ticket. Sunday mid-day the snow was really mushy at the base and only 8 trails were listed as open. I just couldn't bring myself to do it. :(
