1" 12" Packed Powder  reported: 11/24/2012 at 10:29 AM EST by David Bain

Groomed, Uncrowded, Snowy, Making Snow

First day back! Sterling Lift is the only lift operating. Groomed, fast and snow was falling! Pretty good day for early season. Not too crowded. Really one way up and one way down. Intermediate skiers and riders and up. Temps finally allow for Smuggs' to make snow ... guns were blasting. Finally, back on the trail again!
10" 25" Frozen Granular  reported: 01/14/2012 at 10:32 AM EST by David Bain

Groomed, Tracked, Icy Spots, Calm, Making Snow

Finally! Lots of snow! Over the past few days it has snowed quite a bit. Yesterday maybe ten inches, windy and cold. Driving through Jeffersonville the Union Bank sign said 4 degrees. Lots of new snow. The trail linking the village and Madonna was open -- no need for a shuttle. Lots of beginners on Sir Henry's Hill. Short lift lines. Dress warm.
0" 15" Wet Packed Snow  reported: 01/07/2012 at 12:41 PM EST by David Bain

Groomed, Tracked, Bare Spots, Uncrowded, Calm, Rainy

Crazy day! Almost spring-like. Trails were groomed and considering the lack of natural snow .... Smuggs' groomers did a nice job. Snow was SOFT. From 9:00 am - 11:30 am it was overcast. Then a few sprinkles and stopped around 12:30 pm. Crowd was light for a Saturday.
