Groomed

Granite decide to blow some snow this week and it set up some unexpectedly good conditions. Dare I say, the best conditions of the season. Also skied Crotched this weekend and Granite was in MUCH better shape. Thumbs up to management and groomers for making the call to blow some snow!

Groomed, Uncrowded, Sunny

Lift open up to mid-station today! Yeah. Main street skiing very well with very edgeable snow. A real pleasure. Obviously would be good to open to the top, but the improvement over last week is night and day. Let's hope it continues.
0" 10" Icy Granular  reported: 01/17/2016 at 2:21 PM EST by Kelly

Thin, Icy Spots

Really rough conditions for mid-January. Only the rope tow and magic carpet were open on 1.17.16. Headwall was skiable with a hike, but everything was bulletproof. Damn do we need snow and NO MORE RAIN!

Groomed, Uncrowded, Sunny

Wonderful day at Granite Gorge! The trails are still in excellent shape. Lots of snow even some people skiing liftline! Glads are fair game. Headwall is beautifully bumped up. Grab a piece of this while it lasts!

Groomed, Icy Spots, Uncrowded

Skied 4.1.15. Still great conditions. Lots of people in the glades. Headwall is all bumped up and a heck of a lot of fun! It doesn't get better than this!

Deep, Uncrowded, Sunny

About 6 inches overnight! Granite Gorge is in amazing shape. Most snow I've seen there in past 3 years. Glades are open! Liftline is almost skiable had they cleared the brush. No crowds whatsoever. Full sun and 34F. Just amazing.

Groomed, Uncrowded, Sunny

Skied 2.1.15. More trails opened this weekend including Pinnacle from top to bottom! Conditions have greatly improved with the latest snow storm. Really looking like winter on the trails.
0" 30" Hard Pack  reported: 01/11/2015 at 12:00 PM EST by Kelly

Groomed, Uncrowded

Skied Sunday 1.11.15. Chilly weather, but no wind. Top to bottom skiing. Blue and greens open from the top. Main St open at mid-mountain. Good groomed runs, which considering the recent weather is all you can hope for. Very light crowds.

Groomed, Uncrowded, Sunny

This past Saturday was really excellent. No crowds whatsoever. Had the mountain to ourselves and conditions were perfect (short of it being a powder day.) Granite is in great shape to attack the month of March!
4" 50" Powder  reported: 02/16/2014 at 2:38 PM EST by Nancy

Groomed, Sunny

Amazing mid-winter conditions. About 4" of fresh stuff last night. They've opened a lot of new terrain. Ski it while it lasts! It's New England after all.
5" 30" Powder  reported: 01/26/2014 at 1:02 PM EST by Kelly

Icy Spots, Uncrowded, Windy, Sunny

Skied Sunday 1.26. Cold day! 12F at bottom. Some wind, but could have been worse in that department. Fresh snow certainly helped make this day a little brighter. No new trails opened since last week, but skiing comfortable from top to bottom.
4" 25" Powder  reported: 01/20/2014 at 4:09 PM EST by Kelly

Icy Spots, Uncrowded, Sunny

Skied Granite on Sunday 1.19. They had received a few inches on Saturday, which did them a lot of good. Open top to bottom including Chute and Main Street! After all the warm weather, conditions could have been a lot worse. Fun times!
6" 24" Deep Powder  reported: 02/24/2013 at 1:33 PM EST by Carol Fairbank

Deep, Thin Spots, Rocky Spots, Uncrowded, Calm, Snowy

Tried this ski area because I won tickets, and was pleasantly surprised to find this little gem. Deep powder, pristine when I arrived, had the place to myself! I got first tracks on several trails. Conditions held through the day with no real skied off spots even after 3 pm, with the possible exception of Headwall, which had a fair amount of exposed rock and dirt. Overall excellent!

Groomed, Icy Spots, Uncrowded

Sun 01.20.13. Both sides of the mountain are now open from the top. It's skiing very well. Gets icy in the afternoon especially at the top where the wind does it's work. But overall, great conditions.
0" 25" Packed Powder  reported: 01/06/2013 at 11:40 AM EST by Nanc

Groomed, Uncrowded

We went there on Sunday 1.6.13 and the only chair was broken. Only the magic carpet and the park rope tow were open. Good snow conditions, but VERY limited terrain available. They were hoping to have the chair repaired on Wednesday 1.9.13. Keep that in mind...
