0" 0" Powder  reported: 02/22/2015 at 12:54 PM EST by Carol Fairbank

Skied Off, Crowded, Sunny, Flat Light

Fresh snow overnight provided lots of bumped up fun from morning until closing. As the day wore on, lots of the fresh stuff was skied off, but there were plenty of stashes at the edges and in the trees. Warm weather, alternating sun and flat light - hard work, but overall a great day.
2" 18" Packed Powder  reported: 01/11/2015 at 1:40 PM EST by Carol Fairbank

Groomed, Wind-Packed, Uncrowded, Calm, Flat Light

Excellent skiing and riding top to bottom today on the blue trails on Mansfield side, and everywhere on Spruce. Summit areas are wind packed and a few steeper areas were skied off later in the day. No lines at any of the lifts or the over easy gondola. Five star day!

Groomed, Deep, Crowded, Snowy

Fantastic day, on the mountain by 9 off by 1. Conditions were great until all the fresh snow started to Mogul up. These old legs aren't use to that; besides their was so much skiing in 4 hrs we were exhausted. Holiday weekend but the crowds were`nt too bad first thing. If you know where to go it`s easy to avoid long lift lines.

Groomed, Crowded, Windy, Flat Light

2/8/13 was a great day of skiing at Stowe. The crowds were out but the lines moved along quickly. It was a chilly day but there is always the option of the gondola lift to warm up! Every run was fantastic and the Stowe Hosts were super friendly!
3" 18" Icy  reported: 01/21/2013 at 8:42 AM EST by Sheryl L

Skied Off, Thin Spots, Icy Spots, Rocky Spots, Crowded

Snow overnight on Fri was nice but made skiing hard since most of the trails were ice creating ice patches with soft snow mounds all around. Definitly a workout for the legs. There were the most novice skiiers monopolizing the trails anywhere i have ever seen. Check conditions before coming here lots of other mountains with better snow right now. :)

Tracked, Skied Off, Thin Spots, Icy Spots, Crowded

Went yesterday (1-19-13) and conditions were good....but being MLK weekend crowds were not and the people were some of the rudest I have ever encountered on the slopes. Upon arrival there was a decent amount (4 to 5 inches) of powder covering the hard packed underneath. There were some icy spots and unfortunately at the end of the day we ran into some small rock patches which did a little damage to our bases so keep your eyes out. The moguls were gaining in size when it came close to last lift. All in all a good day :-)
