Tim Muhic Ski and Service Reviews

My experience with Tim Muhic's Ski shop is my 14 y/o son's neighbor invited him snowboarding, and rented snowboard shoes from Tim Muhic's shop that we thought were going to be the wrong size. I talked to Mr. Muhic himself on the phone, and though very busy, he was patient, seemed knowledgeable, and showed great customer service skills in his adapting to the situation. We rarely go to the snow, but evidently there must be something good about Tim's shop since our neighbor is making two round trips to Millbrae from San Francisco for the rentals.

Although it's a smaller shop, you can not beat the great service of Tim Muhic Ski and Service. This shop is founded on a love for the snow and giving people quality service. No pressure, no sales pitches, just 100% expertise and helpfulness. This is definately one of the best shops around the area.

This is a professional, specialist shop on the Peninsula. I'm glad I found him. I've rented skis at other shops who sent them out the door with unwaxed, concave bases. I've been quoted a full week turnaround on mounting bindings during a slow season. This isn't professional and, while every local shop may not be like this, I'd given up and was taking my work up to Tahoe. (I am particular about service and use it often---two binding adjustments and four binding mountings this season.) When I ran into this shop, I saw a real difference. Tim has years of experience (I don't want people learning on my skis) and if you are going skiing soon, he'll get you the skis when you need them. His prices are very competitive; why go anywhere else? Tops for service!

I have been going to Tim for three years now, first introduced based on the strong recommendation of two work colleagues. Along with running a great little shop offering equipment that he maintains in excellent condition and rents for reasonable prices, Tim is a nice guy who seems to genuinely care about his customers having enjoyable skiing/boarding experiences. I recommend his shop highly for rental equipment, and have had good experience buying from him as well (as a small shop, his selection is good but not large).
