Great place to go 02/27/2011 by: Anonymous I do not agree with anything that the person said in the previous post. The store has a very helpful and extremely polite staff. I have been shopping at this store for years and they always have the best deals. The staff is young but they are very knowledgeable in every aspect of this winter sport. Those who think they know what they are talking about but do not work in a ski shop probably do not know what they are talking about.

Rude staff-Expensive-Poor Quality 01/01/2011 by: Anonymous Owner's daughter runs the register and is a little tyrant. Her entitled, smarmy, condescending demeanor is the primary reason that we won't be spending our time or money there anymore. Daughter (dark hair mid twenties) berated her staff infront of all the customers in the check out area. The staff themselves were immature have little to no knowledge and it was pointless to ask for assistance. Overall the prices matched first quality stores. There is no return policy. I compared prices with what we bought at Mammoth yesterday and we paid only a dollar less that Footloose was charging. If you have ever been in Footloose in Mammoth they have knowledgeable staff and a decent return policy. At the Liquidation center I don't go there for the musty, dirty store that hasn't been cleaned since it was Alta Sport thirty years ago, My suggestion is you check out the major stores first to get an idea of price and selection. Then see how little difference in price there is.

Best find for ski boots 04/15/2010 by: Epi I found the "Ski and Snowboard Liquidation Center" after an exhaustive internet search. They are the best ski shop imaginable. I needed a pair of new boots to ski in Mammoth and I needed them "now". Their shop is an easy afternoon drive in LA as the afternoon traffic is going in the opposite direction using the 110 N. The people were helpful and mild, great, The boot selection was huge, well organized. The prices are the lowest I could find boot for boot anywhere If you want a low price first, I saw 50 bucks for good new boots for men. Mine? I splurged at 150 bucks plus tax, double at other shops. Ton of ski gear!

Great Selection & Prices 03/26/2009 by: Anonymous Last year I stopped in two days before my ski trip and found a huge selection of ski bibs and accessories for my 2 year old son, at half the price of sporting goods stores. I was so Impressed with the price, size and color selection that I am going back to stock up for next year!
