The Last Honest Ski Shop 03/09/2009 by: Anonymous Helm of Sun Valley in San Mateo is the LAST HONEST SKI SHOP!!! They have an excellent Repair and Rental Team Their Sales Team is the most experienced with over 50 years of experience of fitting boots combined. The Owner is full of information and Management knows how to keep a store afloat in rough times by slashing prices and giving the customer the best information! I would buy here NOW since EVERYTHING is on sale!!! 20-50% off most items with great sizes. I have never been into a shop that had so much stuff... They have a huge "SKI SHOP" sign off of 101 near the golf course so it is easily found!! If i had to choose between buying here or REI, i would buy here! They know what they are talking about and they do not give you the run around!!!
