a must on places to stop in an visit if you are headed to cataloochee ski resort.

This place was incredibly helpful! The employees were all knowledgeable about everything in stock! They went out of their way to strike me a good deal. They were also helpful in letting me and my family know about fun things to do in town other than skiing. Nearly everything in the store was on sale and really neat. The ski rental prices were much cheaper than the mountain and I was in and out of the rental shop in 10 minutes, unlike my sister and her family who got their skis on the mountain and waited more than 2 hours! They also let me pick up my skis the night before so it would be one less stop in the morning. Great place to go! I wouldn't want to go anywhere else :)

I rented a snowboard for 2 days from them. They were very very very rude, didn't give me an option to choose my board, and the board they gave me was coming apart on one side. I basically paid for half of a new board and I got to rent a piece of crap for 2 days. If you are looking to rent a board, you should probably just do it at the lodge because they have nice boards and the customer service there was alot better. On top of all of the bad service I received, I got hurt pretty bad the first day and couldn't return the board the same day and get my money back for the second day. I will never step foot in this store again. And I really can't get over the guys attitude in the rental shop! It was disgusting!!
