Lake Louise Ski Area Reviews

Louise is a beautiful place and because it is a bit further down the road than Sunshine (from Calgary), you may be dealing with slightly shorter lift lines. Although, on a weekend, it is very busy. It's definitely a late season recommended spot.

I caught some late season riding in April of this year. I enjoyed it, and if you go during the week, lift lines are very tolerable. It seems like alot of Calgarians will not make the extra trek out to Louise, as Sunshine is a bit closer. This is to your advantage. They tend to have a long season, and I found a great deal on accommodations in Banff.

One of my favourite places in the Rockies. A resort with something for everyone, conditions are always perfect, fluffly dry powder. Some of the friendliest service you will experience anywhere. Can't wait to slap the sticks on for some turns here this 2012 season!!

Whatever your ability, it's all here. There is endless space especially in the back bowls where you can ski/board to your hearts content, all levels. GREAT!!

Snowed all day at Louise on Jan 13th covering up much of the expose rock. Continued snowing all night; conditions should be great for the weekend.

Louise is a good place to go. It's not my favorite resort because it sees a lot of traffic. Their is a lot of terrain to choose from though, and they usually open very early in the season. I do recall having some good cups of coffee, and the town of Lake Louise has a nice bakery.

Watching this site for snow review and conditions. This is one of my favorite mountains to ski and have been making the trip from the east coast for the past 5-6 years faithfully.

sooo many runs...kind of a dead area buy that upper lodge.. but nice to grab a burger there! and if your a boarder do not take the ski out...ull end up wal;king loots!

lake louise has been my favorite boarding experiences it is beautiful and challenging and i cannot wait to be there this year!!!

I've been to many resorts, Big White, Sunshine, Panerama, Whistler, Sun peaks, Kimberly, etc, but for people in saskatchewan, Lake louise is nice because the drive isnt quite as long. If your like me, and like to go fast, and jump off some cool stuff, then this is an awesome place. I like the gondola as a chair lift for the cold days. it also has grate beginer runs for the first timers.
