Great place to bring the family03/02/2017 by: Paul Dezelske This is a small ski area, not a mountain out west. They do very well, and a family will have a great time for a minimum of money spent. We should all support this local jem.Thank you Mt. Itasca

terrible03/12/2015 by: Anonymous Tubing is very expensive for young kids! Wanted to ride the tube with my kids but they only have 4 double tubes and you pay for 2 hrs time if you don't get one your outta luck!!! Very fun to explain to a 5 yr old sorry we can't go but we paid our $60 for a family of 4 with 2 kids and the lodge said there was plenty of tubes!! Haha asked if there was anymore double they said we are outta luck!! Real class!! Would never go again or recommend to anyone

Mt Itasca 07/24/2006 by: Anonymous Mt Itasca charges a lot for a little. Their season pass is as much as Spirit Mt. in Duluth, MN, which is much nicer. They don't keep the jumps groomed good, and only groom one certain part every once in a while. Most of the time they run out of food and drink.
