We skied at highlands on Janaury 27 and 28th. Plenty of snow in the glades. I had a great time on the Isis Run, & the glades b/t Challlenger & Heather & b/t Rob Roy and Mac's Gully. Plenaty of nice snow. |

Nice, long and well-groomed slopes
Posted on 01/24/2010 by: Marilyn Klos All staff were helpful and courteous. The room accommodations were comfortable and very clean. The ski slopes were nicely groomed. This is a nice, friendly place to take a family. |

Everything for the whole family

Boyne Highlands Resort has everything for the whole family, from skiing to hot chocolate. If you take advantage of the inexpensive or complimentary resort bonuses like the ice skating and the sleigh rides, you don't have to really spend so much. |

Our favorite spot

The best earliest skiing we've had in Michigan in probably 20 years. Our favorite mountain has been Boyne Highlands, although they didn't have quite as many runs open as we'd like when we were there Dec. 6, certainly couldn't complain about being able to hit the mountain that early in the season. Snow was very good and people are always friendly. Plenty of blacks to challenge you, but also some really good, long blues that you can make as hard or as easy as you'd like ... Heather and Amy are good blue runs. |

Great time

Been to Crystal, Schuss, Boyne Mountain and Nub's Nob this year, but Boyne Highlands offered the best skiing. Well groomed, friendly people, virtually no wait time on chairs, and lots of great runs, from very easy to butt-busting. Lots of great intermediate runs from wide open to tree winding. The ski shop was also a must stop! Had a great time and am coming back this weekend and brining the kids. Been looking for the right mountain that will accomodate beginners, but still offer great runs for the adults. Petosky is just a hop away and is a great place to stay. Can't wait to return! -- Jennifer |
