Great skiing for 2013 01/06/2013 by: Anonymous Loved skiing on the new powder for New Years week. The weather was cold and windy - but the Blue Bird lift protected us!! Management did a nice job keeping all lower lifts open when the top was too windy on one afternoon. Nice! The conditions this year have made us smile. Happy skiing.

weekend review - awesome 01/16/2012 by: Anonymous Snow arrived just in time for the holiday weekend. The new 6 man life is awesome! The cover shield keeps you warm and protected. A fast trip to the summit on thick padded seats. A fabulous addition to a wonderful skiing mountain. Fresh Packed powder provides great skiing conditions.

Great but expensive 01/05/2011 by: Anonymous Overall Mount snow is in my opinion the best mountain in the east. It is big with lots of lifts but basically one peak where you can ski all four faces. This means you get to the top and can ski any trail you want without having to traverse or take another lift. I love the north face as it is often not crowded even on weekends. The glades are epic. My only two negatives are it can get crowded being further south and close to NY and the prices are high.

Only 31/2 to 4 hours from New York City! 02/25/2009 by: Anonymous Mount Snow's brave move to turn Carinthis Mountain into a huge mountain face with snowboard parks and half pipes, everyone of all abilities can now hit the park! Mount Snow's family friendly environment offers luxury condos to economy condos, or even the affordable Snow Lake Lodge, which has an outdoor hot tub and is a quick shuttle to the mountain. Terrain for all abilities. And if your an expert skier or snowboarder, check out the North Face for expert only terrain. So close to New York City, affordable, and great terrain are only a few of the reasons to ride or ski there this winter!

Fun place to go! 01/12/2009 by: Elsie Mangeri I brought 3 other people to Mount Snow this past Saturday. We had a great time. The snow conditions were great. What I wanted to comment about mostly was the extra attentiveness that the Mount Snow ski staff showed to my daughter and myself. After a particularly crazy fall (you know the ones where your skis are everywhere, and you even lose your poles), a Mount Snow ski staff person (sorry, forget his name!), stopped to make sure she was fine, and then, helped her get back up. This happened one other time that day, and again, someone from the mountain stopped to help. It is that kind of "niceness" that makes Mount Snow as place that I will come back to, and also a place to recommend to others. Thanks for allowing me a place to thank you again.

1-4-09 MountainReview 01/08/2009 by: Anonymous Mount Snow had a special for kids 18 and under. Pay your age day. So if your kid is 12 then the cost for his or her ticket was 12.00 What a fantastic deal. This will be going on again on March 4th I believe. But check the web site to make sure. The staff was very curtieous. It turned out to be a great day.

Great Day 12/26/2007 by: Anonymous Despite the entire day of rain yesterday the skiing today was GREAT! The snow guns were roaring and the groomers worked hard getting this place into shape, and boy it shows. There was plenty of ice but more skiable powder. We skied the whole mountain but stayed mostly on the Carinthia face because that had the best powder. Tomorrow should be great.

skiing the powder 12/18/2007 by: Joan Davis Skied the weekend during the storm. Over a foot of powder, a little windy so the whole was not open, but the skiing was great and the crowds were small. Only a couple complaints: Lifts very slow and very frequent stops - TV's in bar way too small to watch football and bartender was not very friendly...don't they know that apre ski and just as important?

The Big Cruiser 03/10/2007 by: Anonymous Fantastic packed powder base on all the wide cruisers. Plenty of bump runs open with convenient bail-out lanes for the spectators in the family. Even the horrific winds today couldn't mar the surface of the well-groomed trails. The north face steeps were somewhat blown off ( talcum on teflon), but still very edgeable. So hey, follow the drifting snow into the freshly dressed glades. Brutally low temps scared off the timid, so the lift operators were lonely. Tomorrow's warming trend should make this area lush! For the terrainers, the groomers were building mega-rollers all day just for your next wild ride!
